This 6-week group will provide a safe environment for us to express our thoughts, feelings, and stories related to the loss of our loved ones and our personal experiences after a tragic event; it will help us to understand the grief process and how it impacts our lives. The group aims to foster a healing process through supporting one another, developing ways to nurture our wounded self, develop healthy coping skills and to celebrate our resiliency.    


This group we will help us to:

  • Understand the grief process and its impact

  • Identify where we are in the grief process

  • Develop healthy ways to manage difficult emotions associated to grief (i.e. anger, guilt, sadness)

  • Practical considerations to deal with changes

  • Explore new meanings after loss

  • Understand the importance of memories and rituals

  • Nurture the wounded self

When: Saturdays from 10:00 am to 12:00pm
